Al Ahly’s football first team entered a closed training camp ahead of Wednesday’s game against Wadi Degla in the Egyptian Premier League. 

The Red Eagles are set to face Wadi Degla in a postponed game from Matchday 22 of the Egyptian Premier League at Al Ahly We Salam Stadium.

Pre-match Training Session 

Al Ahly players concluded their preparations with different fitness exercises and some football drills. 

Ashraf and Benoun Conditions 

Our defenders, Ayman Ashraf and Badr Benoun showed up at El Tetsh today, after missing Monday’s training session for picking up a cold. 

Ashraf trained at the gym as his condition improved, while Benoun did not participate in today’s session.

Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, the head of the team’s medical staff, stated that both players underwent a COVID-19 test with the rest of the team, as part of the medical protocol that is set to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Dr. Abu Abla added that the duo will undergo medical tests after Wadi Degla's game in order to evaluate their conditions.
